What More Would I Like To Learn?

Throughout this semester, I fully realized that there are quite a few functions even the basic software and hardware. And I found my knowledge was too little. Therefore, before aiming to make movies or animations, I want to complete all simple and important functions that I could not learn from this semester. I know higher skills follow after basic skills, so as to the computers.
In addition, I am interested in “Easter Eggs” of Microsoft Word; thus, I will make a long journey to find more of them. I can remember the emotion when I learned “rand command”; it was like a magic! Yes, I need more emotions!!
Thank you for Mozilla, my interest in making homepages has been increased greatly. So I want to gain knowledge more about it, and make the web site that will be able to attract and enjoy visitors’ eyes. (Someday I hope to create a web like Square Enix; however, I guess I will be required skills, like making movies, animation, and flashes…)
To sum up, my aim for leaning more about computers will start from the very basic part. I am going to gain my knowledge with excitement; I want to ENJOY the wonderful invention from now on! (Actually, I am stuck on PC than ever before;P)

Thank you
soooooo much,
Mr.Poza!!!

What is "Viral Video"?

Thanks for the Internet, we are able to share the news, music, pictures very easily. As for the Viral Video, it has also become so popular among the world. So what is Viral Video?
Viral Video is the name of video clips, which have passed down and “sharing” through the email, personal websites, or blogs. Because they are usually funny clips such as comedy, parody of famous movies (and so on), the audience’s heart has been stolen with no difficulty.
In addition, technology to make videos at low cost encourages the boom of Viral Video. Even today, there are soft that allow people to watch by using their cell phone. In my opinion, the appearance of YouTube has come to be the great supporter of this boom. (Actually, I have enjoyed Viral Videos without knowing the name!)
As for the conclusion, I would like to share some funny video clips that are on YouTube.

What Will Computers Be Like in the Future?

I think the computer in the future will create the virtual border and nations on the Internet.
Each computer will have a high-performance translator and it will translate one language into another immediately (also will be able to use slang). Therefore, people who use different language will be able to have a chat without any obstacle or misunderstanding by the language problems.
In addition, people will be capable of getting touch with people who live in the country they are interested in; learning its culture and trend very easily. Thus, different cultures enter in the computer smoothly and the virtual country will be born. In other words, each computer will be globalized as the user of it wants to be; they can choose their nationalities as they want. For instance, in virtual Japan, there will be the person whose real nationality are Dutch, UK, Thai, Cambodia, and so forth. And their real religions are Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Shinto, etc.
Consequently, computers will help to make “melting pot” nations on the Internet. Furthermore, people will get different citizenship and enjoy new life without changing their real citizenship and living place. Computers will become the house of virtual life.
This is what I guess about the computers in the future.

Movement of DRM-free Academic Journals in UK

According to BBC, DRM-free academic journals movement is taking action in UK, for reforming the British Library. It will give a great change for users. The concept of reformation is to make the library become the center of shared resources of UK.
By the way, what is DRM? It is the abbreviation of the Digital Right Management, means controlling the idea of sharing intellectual property (ex. music, journals, articles).
Since all academic journals at the British Library have DRM, people cannot use them effectively without visiting there. Of course, users in other countries have the same difficulty.
The movement is to supply the DRM-free copies of these journals through using the computer network. Therefore, other small libraries will be able to have these and share with their visitors. Visitors will be able to get more information than ever before. In some way, people in overseas will also able to be blessed with the movement!

What Is "Net Neutrality"?

Net Neutrality is a concept that all Internet users can get open, equal services of the Internet such as their providers, applications, devices, and information. Internet is an open place for everyone; there should not be any racial, gender, religious, age discrimination.
Users are able to get almost free choice to select services, like their provider, application, and legal devices. For example, they can choose the application for playing music; they choose Windows Media Player, iTunes, Media Player Classic, and so forth.
On the other hand, users must have a responsibility for their decision. For instance, they can get information freely from the whole Internet, but they have responsibility for information they get. If that information is wrong and they get damaged, they cannot complain it. As for me, I am not able to claim information that I use to write today's assignment.
In sum, Net Neutrality gives everyone freedom of using the Internet, but the great responsibility for their choice. Maybe buying Anti-Virus Software is one of their responsibilities.

Computer Gifts I Would Buy for Friends & Family

Actually I have 2 people to present some computer gifts when I ask to do so.
First of all, I would like to buy some online games for my father. It is essential for my wonderful future plan. Online games provide me a new way of communication: battle with my father, purchase the goal by cooperating, or chatting on the board. We have to make the most of the awesome civilization (of course the Internet)! Since we are far away, but games will connect us.
For the friend, I am going to gift her a pen tablet. She is really good at drawing with that tool; however, hers was broken and I cannot appreciate her pictures now. It is sad to enjoy seeing them. Unfortunately, I promised her to buy a new one as her birthday present… Although the cost must damage my purse a lot ;(
In short, I will choose these computer gifts for communication with my important people and for looking their happy smiling(((OuO*) faces.

What Is "Social Engineering"?

Social Engineering means to get any personal or important information by breaking security without using any technical skills.
To do it, Just tricky communication skills are needed to gain reliance from the target. For instance, social engineers use technical language, or pretend to have special and professional knowledge about a certain field. Why can people doubt experts? Moreover, targets usually tend to want to be ‘helpful’ for these people; therefore, if they trust them, they are easy to tell information in order to ‘help’ them. Not only targets trust the ‘reliable’ strangers, also they often do not notice the value of information; they do not know information technology has an extraordinary influence on the society. However, it is actually hard to distinguish correct people from the false ones.
It can be necessary and emergency issue that victims have a responsibility to realize the real importance of information they treat. It is wrong to criticize only the act of Social Engineering. People have to realize that information becomes both useful and dangerous.

What I Want To Learn about Computers

If I can, I want to learn 2 things about the computer: making animation and creating simple games. Also, there are 2 reasons why I would like to do.
The first reason is I love Ghibli movies and playing any kind of games. I had several times to learn how the Ghibli films are made; every time I was wondered and amazed the magic. Thus, I have been interested in animation techniques that are used to create wonderful movies. Moreover, since I have played games for a long time, I got slight dissatisfaction with some of them. Of course I know making games is very hard task, though I wish to add my requirements. In order to do this, I must learn how to use the computer… Nonetheless, it will be okay if I only learn the basic because I just want to appreciate workers who work hard to make really enjoyable games, like Final Fantasy and Muso.
Another one is the influence from friends who study computers. They tell me many new things about animation and game programming. In addition, often they send their masterpieces by emails. This act encourages my interest toward animation and game making.
In short, I would like to learn the basic part of how to make animation and games. The only 1 thing that I worry about is I will be more addicted to those...

My Hisory with Computers

My History...

When I was a pure elementary school student, I came across with a computer.
I didn’t know how to use or why the box-shaped machine was important.

However, my heart has completely grabbed after the time I started to play Final Fantasy XI.

How wonderful the computer is!
I can play games without PlayStation!!

Since then, I have been addicted to this awesome invention.
Addicted.
In addition, I usually spend a lot of time with my computer.

Now, not only enjoying online games, I also enjoy making blog & homepage, net surfing, chatting, exchanging mails, and so on.
Moreover, one of my joys is to find new functions accidentally.

My history to live as a light ‘otaku’ and many new historical discoveries have begun when I was first attracted to this mysterious feature.

Of course, my history has still gone on...
